Terms of service

1. Scope

(1) These General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) apply to all orders placed by consumers and businesses with us via the online shop petsdojo.com.

(2) A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (Section 13 German Civil Code, BGB).

(3) We do not accept any deviating terms of the customer unless we expressly agree to them.

2. Contracting party

The contract of sale is concluded with:
petsdojo – Ailiyaer Maimaiti (sole trader)
Brauerstraße 8, 76137 Karlsruhe, Germany
E-mail: petsdojo.eu@gmail.com · Phone: +49 162 4009878 (no telephone support – please contact us by e-mail)
See our Imprint for more details.

3. Conclusion of the contract

(1) The presentation of products in the online shop is not a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.

(2) You can add products to the cart and change quantities or remove items there. At checkout you enter your contact, delivery and payment details. Before submitting your order you can review all details and correct them using the input fields or your browser’s “Back” function.

(3) By clicking the final order button at checkout (e.g. “Pay now”) you submit a binding offer to purchase the goods in your cart.

(4) We confirm your order by e-mail immediately afterwards. With this order confirmation we accept your offer and the contract is concluded.

4. Contract language, storage of the contract text

(1) The contract language is the language in which you place your order (English or German).

(2) We store the contract text and send you the order details by e-mail. You can view these T&Cs at any time at petsdojo.com/policies/terms-of-service. You can view your previous orders in your customer account (if you have one) or request them from us by e-mail.

5. Prices and shipping costs

(1) For deliveries within the EU, all prices include statutory VAT (where applicable), plus shipping costs.

(2) Shipping costs: EU €4.99, international €7.99; shipping is free for orders from €99. Details are in our Shipping policy.

(3) For deliveries outside the EU (e.g. US, UK, Norway, Switzerland), prices do not include local import duties or taxes. Import duties/taxes may be charged by customs and are paid by the recipient.

(4) Depending on your country, prices may be shown and charged in your local currency, converted automatically from euros.

6. Delivery

(1) We deliver to the countries offered at checkout, to the delivery address you give us.

(2) Goods are dispatched within 1–3 working days after payment. Delivery then takes about 5–9 working days within the EU and about 7–14 working days internationally, unless stated otherwise for an item.

(3) Partial deliveries are possible where reasonable for you; you won’t incur any additional shipping costs.

(4) If an ordered item is not available, we will inform you without delay and refund any payments already made without delay.

7. Payment

(1) The payment methods available are shown at checkout.

(2) Payment is processed by the respective payment provider; their terms apply additionally.

(3) The purchase price is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

8. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until paid in full.

9. Right of withdrawal and voluntary returns

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are in our Right of withdrawal notice (part of our Refund policy). In addition, we offer voluntary returns within 30 days of delivery for unused items in their original packaging, as described in our Refund policy; your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.

10. Liability for defects (legal guarantee)

(1) The statutory rules on liability for defects apply.

(2) If goods arrive with obvious transport damage, please report it to the carrier straight away if possible and contact us. Not doing so has no consequences for your statutory rights; it just helps us make our own claims against the carrier.

(3) We do not give any additional guarantee.

11. Liability

(1) We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act and to the extent of any guarantee given.

(2) In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely), our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

(3) Otherwise, liability is excluded.

12. Product use

Our toys, chews and accessories are not a substitute for supervision. Please supervise your pet when using them, check products regularly for damage and remove damaged parts. For health questions, please ask your vet.

13. Discount codes

(1) Discount codes can only be redeemed under the conditions stated for them and cannot be paid out in cash.

(2) If an order is withdrawn or returned in whole or in part, the discount is taken into account proportionally.

14. Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

15. Final provisions

(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.

(2) If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Karlsruhe, Germany.

(3) Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
